I am one of the EHQ travel agency owners and advisor. I have been in the travel industry for 20+ years through various forms. I love everything about travel, the logistics, the planning, the excitement, meeting new friends and exploring new places.
I have a travel bucket list that literally spans the globe. I can’t wait to see and experience every destination possible. My most favorite place so far has been Grand Cayman. The beaches are beautiful, the locals are incredibly friendly, the water is magical shades of blue.

I am a married, mom of 3 grown kids. They are my most important accomplishment. I am so happy to be part of EHQ, as I love to travel and help people, and it all works together perfectly. Being an agent will only help me, as I have an extensive bucket list, including cruises to the Mediterranean (so I can see the water from Mama Mia), the Hawaiian Islands, Alaska to Japan, Japan to LA, and the Panama Canal. I'd also love to visit Egypt and England (I'm a history buff). My husband and I enjoy all-inclusive trips, and we love cruising, particularly with Carnival. However, I have traveled on most of the major lines growing up. Travel is my way of shutting my mind off, my day job is a Parapro at a middle school, so, I need those recharge breaks! Apart from traveling, I am an avid reader and gamer, and many of my closest friendships have been formed through gaming. I also enjoy coloring and crocheting, and I usually have a yarn project with me at all times. I am also active with the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (IORG), a Masonic leadership organization for girls, where I serve as the Adult leader/liaison for a group of girls aged 11 to 20.

Hi, I am Allison Tubbs from Cabot, Arkansas. I am currently a full time college student in my last semester studying to become a Dental Hygienist. Beyond that, I am a lover of all things Disney, traveling, sports (especially football), and spending time with family and friends!

Job Description
Expedition HQ Travel is looking for travel agents, who are passionate about traveling. You will manage travel requirements made for business or leisure and you will provide tourism related services and package tours on behalf of our suppliers. The goal is to provide a high level of personalized service in order to keep client loyalty for future services.
*Responsibilities* Plan and sell accommodations, transportation, insurance and other travel services* Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs and accommodations* Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) to travelers* Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees (no cash will EVER be exchanged)* Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages* Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds* Attend travel seminars at your own cost to remain current with tourism trends* Enter data into our software and maintain client files* Network with tour operators* Maintain statistical and financial records* Meet profit and sales targets
Requirements* Proven work experience as a travel agent is a plus* Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems and CRM systems or a willingness to learn quickly* Fluency in English* Strong sales skills and commercial awareness* Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively* Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends* Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field is a plus* Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage* Pay small monthly fee for CRM system access and business email* You will be required to create a social media business page(s) to promote your business and post regularly, 4-7 times per week-Facebook business page will be required* Examples of types of travel you will be booking and personalizing include, but are not limited to:* Disney (World/Land/Cruise Line, Aulani, Adventures by Disney)* Universal Orlando/Hollywood* Hotel stays* All Inclusive resort stays* Excursions* Cruises

DOES IT COST ANYTHING EXTRA TO USE A TRAVEL ADVISOR?
No. There is no additional cost to use an advisor with Expedition HQ Travel.
DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE?
Travel insurance is not required, although we do highly recommend it.
WHAT IF I WANT TO CONTROL MY OWN TRIP.
That’s the beauty about working with a travel advisor, you can keep as much or as little control over your trip as you would like. There are a few aspects that your travel advisor will have to take care of however, it is minimal.
